Prints are mounted using Daler Mountboard with a protective backing of greyboard. The 3 colours shown above are fairly neutral to match most decors, but I do have other colours available. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

The long shallow glen of Strathnaver runs north for 15 miles from the moorland-clasped jewel of Loch Naver to the sea at Torrisdale Bay, just west of Bettyhill. It is a beautiful valley - scarred in the early 1800s by the brutality of the Clearances - today disturbed only by the muted sound of sheep and a few crofters, the toss of antlers on moorland or in the the trees, and the flick of a fly-rod across the sparkling water. The river is famous for its trout and salmon, but you need permission to fish! The Crooked Stream is part of Beat 6, for which Syre Lodge has the fishing rights. What a place to let your mind drift with the lure, dazzled by the dancing light, thinking great thoughts of nothing in particular - a rare and heady tonic for the relentless grind of modern life.
