Prints are mounted using Daler Mountboard with a protective backing of greyboard. The 3 colours shown above are fairly neutral to match most decors, but I do have other colours available. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

There must be hundreds of varieties of daffodils, split by botanists into 12 Divisions according to their flower shape and colour. Division 1 contains what I think of as “traditional” daffodils, like the ones in my painting which flower every year around the edges of our garden and under the silver birch hedge. Division 10 contains the wild species, from which all the others originally came. They are such joyful flowers, “dancing in the breeze” as Wordsworth put it, and appearing every spring just after the snowdrops, bringing a promise of winter’s end and better days to come. Perhaps this year, with the Covid-19 pandemic raging, their message of optimism and hope is more needed than ever.
