Prints are mounted using Daler Mountboard with a protective backing of greyboard. The 3 colours shown above are fairly neutral to match most decors, but I do have other colours available. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Painting No. 141
These pebbles from the Kyle of Tongue are like pebbles the world over - each unique, with rounded edges, displaying their history, for those with geologically attuned eyes, in their colours and textures. The dull surfaces become jewel-like if splashed with water. Pebbles are fascinating, but often overlooked because they can occur in such abundance. We see a shingle bank, not the separate stones. And so often we treat people the same way, seeing a crowd instead of unique individuals - and often, like pebbles, they can look dull and uninteresting, lined or unfamiliar features seeming glazed and unfocussed, until a word or act of kindness brings out the jewel-like quality within.
