Prints are mounted using Daler Mountboard with a protective backing of greyboard. The 3 colours shown above are fairly neutral to match most decors, but I do have other colours available. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

This lovely fragrant rose comes from an ancient bush that sprawls and bristles against an old stone wall in our garden. The lower trunk of the shrub is about three inches thick, and is scarred and cracked and shaggy with lichen. The younger shoots are straight and arched and green, but all the stems, young and old, are savage with spines and thorns that even run along the backs of the leaves. The flowers, in stark contrast, are soft, heavy, rounded and deliciously perfumed. As they open, the blooms lose their tight spiral and spread into a luxurious softness, and the petals can fall at a touch in just a few days - amazing delicacy on such a robust plant. If there were personalities in the vegetable world, this would have two - stunningly attractive, but not to be trifled with - like some people I know!
